Meet Our dietitians

Michael Silverstein, RDN, LD

Michael received his qualifications in Nutrition Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He has worked in both acute care and post-acute care settings. Michael previously practiced outpatient medical nutrition therapy in his hometown of Las Vegas, NV, helping individuals with acute and chronic health concerns. He currently works for a local healthcare company practicing in-patient clinical nutrition. His favorite foods are pizza and chocolate.

Estefanía Herrera Pérez, RDN, MS, PhD Candidate

Estefania received her B.S. and Master’s in Nutrition Sciences at UNLV. She has focused on providing inclusive and culturally appropriate medical nutrition therapy with non-profits in Las Vegas, NV. She has taught Personal Nutrition, Everyday Cooking, and Cultural Food Studies at local community colleges. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Public Health focused on Community Health. Her favorite foods are pozole and chips of any kind.
